Makanai mulberry cocoons

Facial skin needs careful and thorough care. Mulberry silkworm cocoons for facial skin care consist of fibrous proteins rich in amino acids that can penetrate deep into the epidermis, nourishing and regenerating the skin. The protein fibroin contained in silk threads is a rich source of glycine, which in turn has a miraculous effect on the skin, giving it a unique radiance.

Silkworm cocoons gently remove keratinized cells, deeply cleanse pores, increase the skin’s protective properties, nourish it, improving texture and color, and have antioxidant properties.

Cocoon is a double strand of fibroin “glued” together with sericin. Fibroin stimulates collagen production, while sericin has moisturizing properties, leaving the skin soft and supple.

How to use: Place the cocoon for 5 minutes in hot (about 60C) water. The cocoon should become soft. Wash your face with your normal cleanser. Put the cocoon on your fingertip and gently wipe it all over your face, paying special attention to problem areas (wings of the nose, T-zone).

Use a new cocoon for each washing procedure.

Depending on the skin type and its needs, cocoons can be used 1-2 times a week.
