Taisho Pabron Soft Nasal Spray

Mild three-component metered-dose Japanese nasal spray for the treatment of rhinitis of various etiologies. The spray contains three components: naphazoline hydrochloride (vasoconstrictor effect), chlorpheniramine maleate (anti-allergic effect) and benzethonium chloride (antiseptic effect). When administered intranasally, the drug causes vasoconstriction of nasal mucosa vessels. As a result of vasoconstriction, there is a decrease in mucous membrane swelling, reduction of rhinorrhea and relief of nasal breathing. Therapeutic effect of the drug develops within 1-2 minutes after application and lasts for at least 6 hours. When the drug is used in recommended doses, tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride is practically not absorbed into the systemic bloodstream.

Indications for use:
The drug is used as a symptomatic agent in the therapy of patients suffering from rhinitis of various etiologies, in particular allergic, viral, bacterial and vasomotor rhinitis.
The drug is also prescribed in the complex therapy of patients with pharyngitis, sinusitis and acute respiratory diseases, which are accompanied by swelling of the nasal mucosa and rhinorrhea.
The drug can be used to reduce edema of the nasal mucosa before diagnostic procedures.

Method of administration:

Adults and children over 7 years of age are usually prescribed 1-2 injections of the drug into each nasal passage 1-4 times a day.

Children under 7 years of age is not recommended.

An interval of at least 4 hours between applications of the drug should be observed.

Duration of the treatment course is usually from 3 to 5 days. In case of necessity of longer use of the drug after 5 days of use it is necessary to take a break for 2-3 days and then repeat the course of treatment.
