Matcha tea is a powdered tea that is grown in a special way. It is grown in the city of Uji in Kyoto Prefecture, where only high quality teas are produced. Matcha green tea contains antioxidants and catechins that fight free radicals. Matcha tea contains much more chlorophyll than other green teas. Chlorophyll in turn helps detoxify the body. Matcha tea leaves also contain a lot of easily digestible fiber. The tea is useful in detoxifying the body, treating the GI tract and stabilizing blood sugar levels.
Method of preparation: for 100 ml of water 2 traditional bamboo measuring spoons for matcha (if there is no such spoon, take tea about as 2 beans), the water should be 60 – 80 degrees. Then whisk well with a whisk or stir well with a spoon.
