Apadent Sensitive toothpaste is a therapeutic and preventive toothpaste for solving problems of tooth hypersensitivity. It contains potassium nitrate (KNO3), which blocks the transmission of pain impulses at the level of nerve endings. Together with Nano-mGAP, penetrates sensitive areas and promotes the formation of hydroxyapatite crystals that block vulnerable dentinal tubules. Nano-MGAP replenishes lost minerals in areas of the tooth with incipient decay. Use of the paste reduces the likelihood of tooth decay by an average of 46%. Nano-particles fill and repair damage to tooth enamel, making enamel strong, smooth and stain resistant. Hydroxyapatite particles remove plaque and bacteria. Cetylpyridinium chloride reduces plaque formation and has an antibacterial effect. The paste reduces and prevents gum inflammation.
