They contain vitamins that help to strengthen vision. Menthol – relieves fatigue and eye strain. The composition includes two groups of vitamins.
B vitamins – have antioxidant activity and participate in the formation of visual impulse (along with vitamin A).
Vitamin E (tocopherol) stabilizes cell membranes, has antioxidant properties, protects eye tissues from the adverse effects of ultraviolet light and excessive illumination.
When applied to mucous membranes, it irritates nerve endings, thus causing a cool sensation, relieving eye strain and itching.
